While living in the Indian subcontinent, I drew many things that I saw around me. I was fascinated by the trees, plants, and animals, as well as the people and their culture. I drew many of the things I saw in the villages and towns where I lived, as well as the things I saw while traveling. These drawings are a record of my experiences and observations during my time in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. They reflect the beauty and diversity of the Indian subcontinent, as well as the challenges and hardships faced by the people who live there. I hope that these drawings will give you a glimpse into the world I experienced during my 50-year adventure. I have included some of my favorite drawings from this period, which I hope will inspire you to explore the world around you and to appreciate the beauty and diversity of nature and culture. I encourage you to take the time to observe and appreciate the world around you, just as I did during my travels. Whether you are an artist or not, I believe that everyone can benefit from taking the time to observe and appreciate the beauty of nature and culture. I hope that these drawings will inspire you to do just that.

Drawings while in Bangladesh
While in Dacca, Bangladesh the colorful and highly decorated rickshaws are everywhere, so I had to draw one as it waited outside the building where I was staying. Since pineapples are so plentiful in Bangladesh I had to draw one. They are very pretty as they are mostly dark green with touches of dark red on the leaves. The aroid, called Mukhi Kachu in Bangladesh, is typically eaten by poor people who boil the roots.
